Last week, Mrs Mason and Dr Holman had the privilege of cheering on our two National Reading Champions Quiz teams as they competed in the Yorkshire heat. Hosted by the National Literacy Trust, the quiz provided a fantastic opportunity for pupils to engage in a book quiz with their peers and showcase their literary knowledge against schools from across the region.

Both of our teams performed admirably, facing stiff competition from some incredibly strong opponents. With an impressive score of 51 out of 75, they secured a joint 10th place finish. It's a testament to their hard work, dedication, and love for reading.

Pupils displayed resilience, teamwork, and a passion for learning throughout the competition. They are a credit to themselves and our School.
