Our Prep School Coffee Concert on Thursday 16 October was a wonderful celebration of musical talent, courage, and community spirit.
From confident drum solos to first-time piano performances and beautiful vocals, our young musicians filled the hall with music — and hearts with pride.
At Tranby, children are taught by specialist music teachers from Reception onwards, giving them a strong foundation in performance and musicianship. As they move through Prep and into Senior School, pupils continue to develop their skills, performing side by side in concerts that showcase not only their progress but also the encouragement and inspiration shared between year groups.
It’s this supportive environment — where younger pupils learn from their older peers — that allows confidence and talent to flourish. Over the years, our musical alumni have gone on to achieve remarkable things, building careers on their passion for music. We can’t help but wonder which of the children in these photos might one day be the next star of the West End, or perhaps the next celebrated composer.
The morning was a shining example of The Tranby Way in action — bravery, kindness, and respect on full display. Every pupil who took to the stage should feel incredibly proud.
