Senior School Sports Day 2026

Senior School Sports Day 2026

Tranby’s Sports Day on Monday 22 June 2026 was a resounding success as we returned to Costello Stadium.

Pupils competed in five field events alongside track events, alternating participation between boys and girls throughout the day. A new addition – our mixed relay events – proved to be a real highlight and were met with great enthusiasm. This is certainly something we look forward to continuing in future years.

It was wonderful to see so many pupils fully engaged in both track and field athletics, something echoed by our guest, Great Britain athlete Archie Yeo. Archie was a fantastic addition to the staff team, even stepping in to run an anchor leg – despite Mr Henderson’s best efforts to make it a little more competitive!

The weather was kind to us, providing cooler conditions than the rest of the week, which created an ideal environment for competition. As always, the success of the day was built on the incredible spirit and teamwork of the Tranby community – staff, parents and pupils alike.

A special thank you goes to all of our senior students who embraced the spirit of the day – whether through competing, supporting, taking photographs or helping behind the scenes.
Every pupil who took part, supported their peers or simply gave their best contributed to making the day so special. Your enthusiasm and effort are what make Tranby Sports Day such a memorable occasion each year.

An unforgettable day – thank you to everyone involved.

All photos you see here were captured by our remarkable A-Level Photography students Anna G and Erin R, and what a fantastic job they did!
