This year, we were delighted to hold our annual Senior School Prize Giving at the beautiful Wootton Hall. The stunning venue provided the perfect setting for a wonderful evening of celebration, bringing together parents, pupils, teachers and governors to recognise the many achievements of our senior pupils.
Guests enjoyed a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, complete with delicious wood-fired pizzas and a fully stocked bar, making the occasion both memorable and enjoyable for all who attended.
Proceedings began with a warm welcome from Paul Grimwood, followed by an address from our Head, Mr Wainman. We were also honoured to welcome Mrs Andrea Asbury as our guest speaker. Having taught at Tranby for 25 years, Mrs Asbury shared many entertaining and heartfelt stories from her time at the school, much to the delight of the audience.
Our newly appointed Senior Prefect Team proudly read the school reports, demonstrating confidence and leadership throughout the evening. Musical interludes added to the celebrations, with beautiful performances from Senior Head Prefect Millie, our girls chamber choir and our talented guitar band, featuring pupils Isaac and Harrison.
Our prize-winning pupils received their awards in recognition of their hard work, commitment and success across a broad range of subjects and activities, to the appreciation of their friends and families in attendance.
It was a delightful evening celebrating the broad talents, achievements and academic excellence of our pupils. Thank you to everyone involved in making the evening such a success.
