Tranby 2025 A-Level Results Day

We are delighted to announce another year of A Level success, with pupils achieving excellent results across a wide range of subjects!

These achievements reflect the dedication, resilience, and ambition of our pupils, supported by the unwavering commitment of our teachers and the encouragement of their families.
Key highlights from this year’s results include:

  • 100% pass rate across all subjects.
  • In Art, French, English Literature, and Spanish, all pupils achieved grades A*–B.
  • In Sport, 86% of pupils achieved an A*–A equivalent.

Individual successes include:

  • Phoebe, who achieved an A* and two A grades, securing her place at Durham University to study Law.
  • Max, who will take his A* in Art & Design and join the University of the Arts, London to study Fashion Design Technology, expressed his gratitude for the guidance and support that helped him fulfil his ambition of studying at a leading arts institution.
  • Poppy, who achieved three Distinction* grades in Sport, will now pursue her lifelong ambition of studying Sports and Exercise Therapy.

Every member of the Upper Sixth has successfully secured their chosen next step, whether in higher education, training, or employment – a testament not only to their academic achievements but also to Tranby’s commitment to preparing pupils for their futures.
Headteacher Cath Sweeting said:

“We are immensely proud of our pupils’ achievements this year. These results reflect their determination, resilience, and ambition, alongside the expertise and dedication of our staff. At Tranby, our mission is to prepare pupils for life beyond Sixth Form, inspiring them to aim high and fulfil their potential. We strive to equip our pupils with the academic excellence, personal integrity, and social confidence needed to thrive in an ever-changing world.”

Tranby congratulates all pupils, staff, and families on a results day that embodies the school’s high expectations, nurturing environment, and culture of achievement.
