Christmas Carol Concert in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust

Christmas Carol Concert in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust

General

Last night we held our Christmas Carol Concert in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust. The evening was packed full of Christmas favourites featuring performances from all of our larger school musical ensembles, alongside solos, duets, seasonal readings and the Tranby Chorus. It was wonderful to hear the audience participate by joining in with a few carols.

Recognising and celebrating the hard work of the Music Department highlights the dedication and skill involved in putting together a successful concert. The concert not only showcases the musical talent of our pupils, but also demonstrates the commitment in nurturing the potential of every pupil.

Thanks you to Hannah who joined us from the Teenage Cancer Trust and spoke about the charity. We are delighted to annnouce we raised over £2500! Thank you to everyone for your donations.

Director of Music, Corinne Cook said ''I am so proud of every pupil who performed last night. The dedication of every performer is a testament to the unwavering spirit of our pupils. The concert was a celebration of talent and the hard work that reside within each pupil."

Here is a clip from 'Somewhere Only We Know' performed by the Tranby Chrous.
