Accelerated Reader Word Millionaire Certificate awarded to pupils in Year 7 and 8

General

Congratulations to pupils in Year 7 and 8 who took part in the Accelerated Reading Word Millionaire Challenge. This is a short-term reading intervention that challenges a class group of pupils to engage in recreational reading within a reasonable timeframe.

Mr Latham presented an Accelerated Reader Word Millionaire certificate to Catherine in Year 7. Mr Roberts awarded Lucy in Year 8 a book, Looking at the Stars, for reading the most words in her class. Sam Pounder, Year 7, received an Accelerated Reader Word Millionaire certificate and a book, Race to the Frozen North, from Mrs Bloomfield. Alice, Year 8, read the most words in her class this term. Mrs Bloomfield gave her the book, Looking at the Stars.
