On Friday 20th June, our Sixth Form students came together for a truly magical celebration at The Manor Rooms in South Cave for the much-anticipated Tranby Leavers' Ball. And what a celebration it was!
The event was nothing short of extraordinary – a meticulously planned evening designed by our Head of Sixth Form, Grace Robinson, whose vision and care made the night unforgettable. From the elegant décor to the thoughtful details throughout, Grace’s efforts brought a touch of brilliance that really moved the staff, students, and their families. It was clear to all in attendance just how deeply she cares about our students and their families.
The evening was filled with joy, laughter and reflection. Our students arrived dressed to impress, radiating confidence, excitement, and the close bond they’ve formed over their time at Tranby. Speeches delivered throughout the night offered a poignant reminder of the extraordinary achievements of this cohort – not only in academics, but in their resilience, growth, and determination to reach this point.
Adding to the brilliant vibe of the evening, Megan, Luka, Andrew and Finlay provided first-class entertainment - performing a live set that got everyone in the party frame of mind!
It was an emotional evening, as we celebrated the remarkable young people these students have become. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and know that even greater things lie ahead for them.
We look forward to welcoming them back on Results Day in August – a day we are confident will bring even more reasons to celebrate.
