Yorkshire Wolds Heritage Trust hold their AGM at Tranby

General

Today we welcomed members from the Yorkshire Wolds Heritage Trust to Tranby for their AGM. The meeting was held in the Drawing Room and included refreshments and buffet lunch. Following the presentation they heard from Mr Stephenson about the history of Tranby Croft and enjoyed exploring the various reception rooms including the famous ‘Baccarat Room’ and, for those with a head for heights, the tower from which Arthur Wilson used to watch his ships sailing up the Humber.

History tours are bookable via the school website HERE and bespoke tours or events can be arranged. Contact Mr Stephenson at the school for details.
