Year 1 and Year 2 had a fantastic, sunny day at the Living Sea Centre in Flamborough last week. They went rock pooling, searching for sea creatures where they found different species of crabs and limpets amongst plenty of seaweed and some were even brave enough to hold a crab! In the afternoon, the children learnt about the importance of keeping our beaches clean and how we can help keep our marine and bird life safe from the waste left on our beaches. We were amazed at all of the rubbish that was brought in by the tide and helped to clean it up.
