Tranby girls success in Northern Ballet

We are delighted to share some wonderful news about two of our Tranby pupils who are both members of RS Dance where children develop their talents in a number of different dance styles including Modern, Contemporary, Street, Tap, Musical Theatre and Jazz.

Year 7 Isabella has been successful at audition and awarded a part in Northern Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker at Hull New Theatre for November and December 2022. Isabella will be performing with the company throughout the whole of Act I as a Party Child and Act II as an attendant.

Year 8 Lilly has been successful in retaining her place in the Northern Ballet Academy for 2022/2023, this will be her 5th year in the academy!  Children are assessed in and out of the programme annually and it is very competitive with children from across the whole of the North of England and Midlands auditioning annually for only 20 spaces for each school year group.
