Congratulations to all musicians involved in Saturday’s Tranby Music Recital at St Mary’s, Lowgate. Featuring solos, duets, trios and larger ensembles from pupils in Years 4-13, every single performance was outstanding and the concert was a huge success, earning a justly deserved standing ovation at the end of the final item. Praise for our students has been coming in thick and fast, with comments such as ‘amazing’, ‘wow!’, ‘incredible’, ‘superb’ and ‘proud’ being amongst the most common, and many audience members reporting that they had been overcome with pride and emotion, seeing each and every student involved at their very best.
