Tranby's 2025 Careers Fair Inspires Future Career Paths

Tranby's 2025 Careers Fair Inspires Future Career Paths

On Wednesday 5 March 2025, Tranby hosted a highly successful Careers Fair, bringing together students, industry professionals, further education providers, and local businesses to explore diverse career opportunities.

The event provided an invaluable platform for students to interact with potential employers, gain insights into various industries, and make informed decisions about their future careers.

In addition to our senior students, Year 4, 5 and 6 pupils also had the opportunity to attend the event, giving them a head start on their career journeys. It's a privilege that they receive careers guidance from prep school age, helping to set them on the right path early on.

With over 30 companies and organisations in attendance, the Careers Fair showcased a wide range of career paths from technology, healthcare, engineering, finance, and the arts, allowing students to explore their interests and ask questions directly to industry experts. The exhibitors were highly complimentary of our students, praising their impeccable manners, thoughtful questions, and confidence when engaging with professionals.

Anthony Rawson NHS Radiography “Everyone was so polite, welcoming and accommodating”
Gemma from Humber Teaching NHS Trust “The students were great and it was a real pleasure to be here today.”
Vicky Fussey from Hobson Porter “Brilliant students, very engaging with lots of good questions and they were so polite and well-mannered too.”
Yvonne from Catch “I had some wonderful conversations – even with the younger students.”
Jonathan Snee of Raymond James UK “The students were so engaging and confident”

Students also participated in a range of interactive activities and one-to-one sessions with professionals, helping them to develop essential skills and knowledge for their career journeys.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the employers, volunteers, and students who made this event a success. It is inspiring to see the enthusiasm and dedication toward shaping the future of our young people.

A special thanks to our exhibitors
