Y3 - Y8 Cross Country Challenge

Y3 - Y8 Cross Country Challenge

Mud, Determination, and Team Spirit at the annual Invitational Terrington Hall Cross Country event!

On Monday, 3rd February, a team of determined Tranby pupils from year 3 to year 8 braved the elements to compete in the Terrington Hall Invitational Cross Country event. With over 400 students from 16 schools taking part, the event was a true test of endurance, resilience, and teamwork.

With the course coated in mud, it wasn’t long before trainers were coming loose and legs were battling through the challenging terrain. Yet, our pupils never gave up. They showed remarkable grit and tenacity, pushing through every tough moment with unwavering determination.

What stood out most was their incredible team spirit. Even when faced with exhaustion, our runners found the energy to cheer each other on, double back to support injured teammates, and ensure that no one crossed the finish line alone. It was a true display of camaraderie and the values we hold dear at Tranby.

We couldn’t be prouder of our pupils, who represented the school so beautifully. Not just with their effort, but with their smiles, resilience, and support for one another. Well done, Team Tranby!
