A huge thank you to everyone who took part in our Senior School Cycleathon in support of Mental Health Awareness Week! From students and staff to parents and supporters, the event was a true testament to the power of our community.
Throughout the day, staff, students and their family members took turns on the spin bikes, pushing themselves both physically and mentally while raising awareness of the importance of movement for wellbeing. The atmosphere was electric, with smiles, encouragement, and a real sense of camaraderie filling the room.
Some of our school production cast took on the challenge of combining the Cycleathon with Ms Burt’s Macbeth rehearsal, displaying great teamwork in addition to physical and vocal discipline. Pedalling while perfecting Shakespeare - now that’s dedication!
A massive thank you to our incredible staff who planned the event, made sure it ran as smootly as a freshly oiled bike chain, and shouted words of encouragemtns to all those in our community who took part. Not to mention the sheer determination in moving the very heavy bikes from the spin room to the Drawing Room! A special shout-out to Davenport Bakes, whose delicious treats kept energy levels high and spirits even higher!
We are especially grateful to the parents and familiy members who took the time to come in and gt involved, proving once again that the Tranby community is a very strong one!
The Cycleathon wasn’t just about fitness, it was a reminder that small steps (or pedal strokes!) can make a big difference in mental wellbeing. Thank you for being part of this important initiative.
