We are delighted to introduce our incoming Senior Prefect Team for the 2025/2026 academic year.
These exceptional students have demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities and a deep commitment to the Tranby community. As they step into their new roles, they share their thoughts and aspirations:
Head Boy, Louis: "I cannot express how honoured I am to lead the Prefect Team next year. Having been at this school since I was two years old, this role gives me a chance to give back to the amazing community that has looked after me for so long. I cannot wait to work with the rest of the prefect team to improve the school even more, as well as being a voice for the students. Our goal as the prefect team is to create an even better environment for students so that they can thrive and achieve the utmost of what they are capable of at this great school."
Head Girl, Alice: "It's a privilege to be selected to be on the Senior Prefect Team. I've been at the school since I was nine and I'm looking forward to not only the opportunity this offers me but also continuing to help and be involved throughout the school during my last year here."
Emily found the rigourous application process very useful, telling us, "The interview process is enlightening and is a useful experience in preparation for future endeavours. I'm delighted to have been selected to be on the Senior Prefect Team."
Lauren said "I am honoured to be part of the Senior Prefect Team and I am very excited for the year ahead."
Ejab: "At 14, when I first joined Tranby, becoming a prefect became an opportunity to lead by example, support my peers, and make a positive impact on our school."
Zac: "Despite only joining Tranby at the beginning of this academic year, the importance of being part of the Prefect Team was emphasised from the very beginning; making my appointment as a Senior Prefect a privilege. Personally, I found the application process to this role extremely beneficial as it provided a valuable insight into the rigour of university and potential future job interviews. Additionally, senior members of staff are more than happy to provide post-interview feedback which is equally as valuable. In this role, I hope to be able to repay the Tranby community for the kindness and generosity I have been shown throughout my short time as a Sixth-Form student, through highlighting the significance of the student voice and attempting to improve life at Tranby for the better."
Will: "Becoming a Senior Prefect at Tranby is not just an honor; it’s a responsibility to lead with integrity and passion, and serve with dedication. I'm excited for the journey ahead and the chance to make a positive impact on our school community."
George: "I am truly honoured to have been selected to be part of the Senior Prefect Team for the 25/26 academic year. It’s a proud moment for me, and I’m incredibly excited to get started. The application process allowed me to develop skills that will be extremely useful for me in the future. I look forward to working alongside the incoming Head Teacher as well as my peers. I will embrace the challenges ahead and hope to make a real difference within the school community. My aim is to lead by example, bring positive change, and contribute to an environment where everyone can thrive."
What wonderful words!
We are confident that this team will uphold the values of The Tranby Way - leading with kindness, integrity, and determination.
