Our first Tranby Golf Day was a huge success on Friday and the day was blessed with fantastic weather. The teams included current and former pupils, parents, governors, friends and family. The competition started at 1pm and we saw some superb golf being played.
The winners were a team of alumni; Ollie Tullet, Jacob Edwards, Harry Weeks and Tom Gillingwater - well done boys!
Congratulations to Year 13 Will who won the 'longest drive' with a monstrous 400 yards and 'nearest to the pin' was won by Year 11 George.

Head of Sixth Form, James Windeatt said, ''It was an absolute privilege to organise Tranby’s first ever Golf Day with the help of our BTEC students. The day was a roaring success, enjoyed by students, alumni, parents and staff. Huge thanks to Aaron Pheasant and his team at Hull Golf Club, not just for the day but also the work they do in the partnership with our students. I would also like to thank all the suppliers and sponsors. I am proud to add this as an annual event for the school and look forward to even more teams next year.
