Nicola from Oakwood Dog Rescue, this year's house charity, came and spoke to the Senior School students in assembly yesterday. She discussed the amazing work the charity does to help rescue and rehome dogs in need, but also how much that costs; a staggering £220,000 a year. Nicola explained the importance of fundraising and how every penny raised helps the charity continue to do its vital work.
