Year 7 Latin Competition

Year 7 Latin Competition

General

Year 7 pupils of Latin are learning about Roman religion, including the fact that all Roman households would have had a lararium (shrine) where they would pray and make offerings to the lares (household gods) for health, protection and more.  The pupils had a competition to decide on the best rendition of a shoebox lararium, pictures of which can be seen below.  Some broad interpretations and very strong entries made it a close call indeed, but the runners-up were Maisie & Lilly-Rose, with Alicia & Bella taking the top spot.  Optime!
