Gordon Stephenson, Head of Languages and archivist at Tranby, is offering heritage tours of Tranby Croft to anyone with an interest in the Wilson family, Tranby Croft or the School.
The tours will include the Baccarat Room, the various family reception rooms and the tower which gives extensive views towards the Humber. Some tours will be extended to include former classrooms for any former pupils interested. Those tours offering this opportunity will be highlighted as such on the list.
All proceeds are going towards the purchase of the Gertrude Attwood archives, currently in the hands of a private dealer, and the Tranby Trust, an independent education charity (charity no. 1079653) founded in 2000 to provide financial assistance to new and existing pupils of Tranby by subsidising the cost of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and school fees.
