Tranby School in Action

Friday October 03, 2025 to Wednesday January 28, 2026

Experience the Best of Tranby during a School in Action visit!

Join us this Michaelmas Term for a School in Action session – a unique opportunity to step inside a real school day and discover the energy, ambition, and excellence that define life at Tranby.

Explore our outstanding facilities in Music, Drama, Science, Sport and Design Technology, and see how expert teaching across all core subjects helps every pupil thrive.

You’ll meet our inspirational staff and either our progressive and forward-thinking Head of Prep, Cath Sweeting, or, if you're touring the Senior School, our Head, Mr Chris Wainman – together leading Tranby into an exciting new chapter with fresh ideas and an approach that brings out the best in every pupil.

With only one booking per time slot, your tour will be fully personalised and focused entirely on your family. You're welcome to bring as many family members as you'd like to experience everything Tranby has to offer.

Booking is essential. Follow one of the links below to book either a Senior or Prep School in Action visit.

Tranby Christmas Concert 2025

Thursday December 11, 2025

This year’s Christmas Concert is set to be bigger and better than ever, and we can’t wait to welcome you!

You’ll be greeted with a mince pie and either a mulled wine or refreshing elderflower drink before enjoying outstanding musical performances from our talented pupils and staff.

Our wonderful PTA, Friends of Tranby, will also be on hand with a fully stocked bar and treats for the children.

We have some exciting surprises planned and the Radcliffe Hall will be more festive than Santa's Grotto, all of which will make the evening extra special.

Tickets this year are £6.00* per person and all proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Leukaemia Care, in support of Y13 pupil Ruby, who sadly lost her father to the disease in November 2024.

There will also be fantastic prizes to be won in our Christmas raffle!
Raffle tickets are available on the night at a cost of £1 per ticket.
