While part of our school is undergoing exciting restoration work, our September Open Event will be a little more intimate than usual – but still full of opportunities to explore life at Tranby.

Join us on Saturday 27 September and step into life at Tranby Senior School. Pupils will take part in engaging activities across STEM, Sport, Languages, and the Arts, getting a true feel for the challenge and joy of life at Tranby.

For families interested in Preschool, Reception, or Prep, you’ll explore The Croft — our nurturing early years setting — and/or our outstanding Prep School. From age 2, children benefit from specialist teaching in phonics and maths, alongside a purpose-built outdoor area that builds confidence, teamwork, and resilience. This strong foundation is why our pupils consistently excel — achieving a 100% pass rate in phonics and consistently out performing national averages in Reading, Writing and Mathematics.

You'll also have the opportunity to meet Mr Chris Wainman, the new Head of Tranby, who will share his vision for the future alongside Mrs Cath Sweeting, Head of Prep, and the wider team.

Organised by our brilliant PTA, the Friends of Tranby Quiz Night is back by popular demand!

Gather your dream team (max. 6 adults), bring your competitive spirit, and see if you’ve got what it takes to be crowned quiz champions.

Tickets are £10 and include a hearty serving of vegetarian Mexican chilli with rice at the interval.

Licensed bar open throughout the night with a great range of drinks.

Discover why Tranby Sixth Form is a place where students truly thrive at our Sixth Form Open Evening on Wednesday 15 October, 18:00 - 20:00.

Please note: booking for both current and prospective families is essential to allow us to cater for the event.

The evening will be designed and led by our own Sixth Form students, giving you a genuine insight into life at Tranby. On the evening you will explore subjects through interactive activities and demonstrations, speak directly with staff and students about courses, enrichment opportunities and life beyond the classroom, and attend our main presentation at 19:00 in the Radcliffe hall.
